ClimateDoor helped Habitat shape a go-to-market strategy for modular onshore fish farms built in partnership with First Nations.

Founder & CEO
Habitat had a compelling vision for modular onshore fish farms, but needed a practical go-to-market strategy that could align project deployment with the right First Nations partners and the right capital stack. The company needed a clear pathway for how Indigenous partnerships could support both project development and access to grants and project financing required for a large-scale build-out.
ClimateDoor developed a go-to-market plan focused on how Habitat could work with First Nations as long-term partners in deploying onshore aquaculture infrastructure. We helped frame Indigenous groups as strategic partners in project development, grant access, and capital allocation, drawing on ClimateDoor's experience in finance, Indigenous business, and non-dilutive funding.
Habitat moved from a high-potential concept to a structured commercialization pathway with three Indigenous partners identified, one advancing actively, a $150,000 feasibility grant approved, and financing conversations underway with Farm Credit Canada and First Nations Bank of Canada toward a $25M core unit build-out.
