Growing up in a mixed-race family—her father Indigenous, her mother non-Indigenous—has shaped Angela Adsit’s capacity to navigate both Indigenous and mainstream Canadian environments. She is renowned for her commitment to empowering Indigenous communities while bridging the cultural, social, and economic divide that exists in Canada.

Angela is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), with her research focused on Indigenous-defined wellness in economic development.
